The basic design concept for the Joshua Tree MODHAUS is the central living core, consisting of the dining/kitchen/living area and den. The home office, guest suite, master bedroom “feed off” the central living core without the need for hallways. Access to these rooms is accomplished with floor to ceiling glass slider doors.

To accentuate the kitchen area, the ceiling is lowered slightly with additional dramatic down lighting. A free floating, 360 degree rotating “Orb” fireplace is placed between the living/den area and is viewed from throughout the central living core and master bedroom. The master bedroom also enjoys three full walls of sliding glass. The swimming pool and vistas beyond are also framed with full walls of sliding glass
